BANKS POWER introduces its new Derringer programmer for the 6.6 Duramax L5P powered 17′ to 18′ Chevy and GMC trucks.The easy-to-conceal, plug-and-play control module provides a 61hp and 112-lb-ft-of-torque increase to an L5P’s performance by using Banks Power’s AutoRate technology to read engine rpm, coolant temp, and EGT, as well as a vehicle’s speed, transmission gearing, and more, in order to maximize performance and increase reliability and safety. The Derringer also includes Banks’ transCommand and ActiveSafety features to add an extra layer of protection for the transmission and a vehicle’s drivability.
