PedalMonster for ’12 RAM
Steve Luthern’s 2012 RAM 2500 truck has seen its fair share of cold Utah winters, and that had him pretty worried. “I only have about 87,000 miles on my truck, and it looks brand new because I baby it. The pre-heat with that heater grid is used quite a bit up here. After my buddy warned me that there was a big problem with it, I knew that I had to do something as soon as possible. I did the ‘jiggle’ test to see if the heater post was bad, and it didn’t wiggle at all. That didn’t stop me; if there was a chance it was going to fail and take out my engine, I wanted it out of there! After looking at all of the reviews my buddy, who lives in California, and I ended up both buying the Monster-Ram Intake elbow. It was a great kit, very well laid out, and I installed it myself without any problems. I also installed the Ram-Air Intake and the Boost Tube Upgrade. After it was all set up I knew with all that extra airflow it had more potential for performance, and when my friend advised me to get the PedalMonster, I balked at it at first. How could something so small and so simple to install make such performance change in my truck?”
“I was amazed. It was like driving a completely different truck. I’ve had this RAM for about 13 years, and if the PedalMonster was available back when I bought it, I would have put it on day one. My buddy just bought an F-450 and immediately installed PedalMonster. It made such a huge change to both of our trucks, and we’re never going back to stock.”
“The performance is just… silly. I get giddy driving it. I’ll stand behind this product any day of the week. It livened up my truck, was exactly what you said it would be, is loaded with features, and it’s right on price point.”
