CARB Legal Performance

The hosts of YouTube channel Custom Offsets followed up a visit to Banks with an installation of everything available for their 2018 Ford Power Stroke. They opened the bevy of products and went over each, talking about their features and benefits. By far the most impressive aspect to them was the fact that all of the products received, (Ram-Air Intake, Derringer Tuner, PedalMonster, iDash DataMonster, Ram-Air Differential Cover, and 5” Monster Exhaust) were completely legal to install and operate on an emissions controlled vehicle.

“The cool thing about Banks is that all their products are 50-state legal and CARB compliant.”  You can dump a tuner on your truck, gain some power, be super safe, and also within federal regulations.”

The installer took the truck out for a test drive afterward, giving his thoughts as he drove and changed the levels of both the PedalMonster and the Derringer. “It’s definitely worth it. It wakes up a truck without having to do a bunch of emissions deleting stuff. Overall, the truck performs without sounding like it’s performing, which is exactly what you want with the new emissions tunes these days.”

The video closes with the installer laying down some rubber and producing a massive cloud of smoke. “It’ll do a burnout…”  he says laughing.
