Banks Since Day One

Paul Peacock has trusted Banks products since he graduated from an automotive technical school. “I bought my 2004 Jeep as a present to myself when I graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Houston. I put the Monster Exhaust on first, then I installed the Torque Tube Headers to get away from the stock manifold’s constant cracking. I had an Airaid intake on it, but changed that out for the Banks Ram-Air intake because I wasn’t happy with it. The Airaid one kept getting mud packed into it. That problem was gone once I installed the Banks. I put 222,000 miles on that Jeep before I had to sell it. Dad-life… it happens.”

“I bought a 2022 RAM 3500 Mega Cab Dually next,” continues Paul. “Right now, I have the PedalMonster and iDash Pro on it, and I have a Monster-Ram sitting in the box. I’m waiting for the Boost Tube Upgrade to come in because I want to install the Monster-Ram and the tubes at the same time. On the PedalMonster, I’m running it in CITY Level 3 for around town, and I’m actually seeing a mileage increase from when it was stock. Now, when I haul the camper, I bump it up to a CITY Level 8, and that makes a drastic difference in how it pulls hills. I also use Tip-In Control set at 5, which gives me a smooth transition of power so that I don’t jerk the trailer. It’s a triple-axle camper. When it’s fully loaded, it’s 19,000 pounds, so more help is deeply appreciated. I like the iDash because I can keep an eye on all of my temperatures when I tow. I’ve even set a few alerts. I know the Monster-Ram will be great because I’ve installed three of them on friends’ trucks. So, I’m really looking forward to having it on mine.”
