Monster Power and Mileage for Duo

Friends Bob Young and Noe Pimente reported back from their long trek, during which they traveled to several states, each towing 34-foot trailers with their 2015 Rams. Both gentlemen had been to the Banks Power House to have the Monster-Ram Intake installed before heading out on their trip. They both wanted to get rid of the grid heater to ensure the lives of their trucks, but they didn’t expect the added performance.

“First day made it to Beaver, Utah,” recounted Bob. It was 109° going through Vegas, and the Monster-Ram worked amazingly. My fuel mileage increased by at least 2 miles per gallon. Coming up Baker Grade with my 5th wheel, I went up at 65 miles per hour.”

“I’ve towed with this truck and the trailer before,” adds Noe. “I have a good before-and-after. There’s a BIG difference. The truck feels stronger, and I’m loving the performance so far. Both trucks are awesome, and we can even feel the strength towing uphill. They devour those hills. I’ve also been keeping track of mileage. With the addition of the Monster-Ram, I’m getting around 2 mpg better than before. I don’t have the Ram-Air Intake like Bob, but that and the PedalMonster are next on my list.”

Noe continues, “I’m so impressed with the Banks gear that every chance I get to talk about it, I take it. For example: we met an old-timer with a 2023 RAM, and I had to show him the Monster-Ram. He had said he was considering getting one because of the grid heater bolt issue. I told him it was the best thing he could do to increase the power and safety of his truck. I even got him to crawl under my truck to look at the Ram-Air Differential Cover. I think that I made another convert.”
