A More Powerful 2022 Jeep Gladiator

After only having his 2022 Jeep Gladiator for a few weeks, Derek felt that the EcoDiesel engine could be livelier. “There was a lag that just bugged me. I started looking into ways to improve the response and came across Banks. The PedalMonster was something that was low-risk and easy to install. I purchase the iDash SuperGauge to control it. Also, to keep me informed of things I wasn’t seeing on the dashboard. It made the engine feel significantly stronger, and eliminated the throttle lag.”

“As I continued to click down the rabbit hole of PedalMonster reviews, I found that many were also using the Derringer. I thought it would be a logical next step. The combination really transforms the powerplant. After a week or so of running with them both, I decided to see what it was like to run without the Derringer and the PedalMonster so I turned them both down to zero—I was reminded that being stock was like being back to mush. We have a cabin in northern Phoenix, and climbing up those mountain roads every once and a while you’ll get stuck behind a big rig, and that slows you way down. Once you get an opening, a light press on the accelerator and you’re immediately back up to speed. I can’t really say enough about how different and more enjoyable my 2022 Jeep Gladiator feels.”
