Game-Changing Power: Silverado 2500 Upgrades with Banks Performance
“What a game-changer on these trucks!,” Johnathan tells us with excitement. “I have a 2024 Silverado 2500, and I have just about everything that Banks makes: the MAP Sensor Relocation Kit, it has the Monster-Ram turbo inlet, Boost Tube Upgrade, Ram-Air Intake, the PedalMonster, two iDash Pros, the Stealth Pod, a Derringer tuner, CoolRunner Oil Pan, Ram-Air Differential Cover, and Ram-Air Trans Pan.”

“I started my Banks upgrades with the Monster-Ram and the PedalMonster, and it woke up the otherwise lazy power delivery. I set the PedalMonster at Sport level 5 and the Derringer to level 6, and it felt like a whole new truck. It was just so much more responsive. And now with the Derringer, it’s just… powerful. I was going through some mountain roads just last month, and I had to turn the power down (which is really cool to be able to do from the iDash Pro) because the settings I had for regular driving made the truck want to break loose in the curves.”

“The new Ram-Air intake makes the truck sound really nice. I’m looking forward to my fuel milage improving, too, since it now breathes so much better. With the iDash Pros, I can easily monitor all my temperatures—EGT, engine, and trans. I’m still learning about all the readings it can display and how to set up the pages, but it’s all really easy. With the Ram-Air trans pan, engine oil pan, and diff cover, everything stays nice and cool. The trans runs at around 140°, with the engine oil temp about 175°. All the temperatures are in their sweet spots, which is important to me since I depend on this truck. I have an auto repair business and I pull loaded car trailers. My truck now hauls like there’s nothing attached.”

“I have more power, total control of that power. It feels like the truck should have come with is way. There’s no beating it. It’s all great!”
