Tacoma Owner Blown Away
There’s one thing all Tacomas owners suffer from when adding bigger tires and loads of overlanding gear—lackluster acceleration. Good news! We’ve fixed it. “I can’t believe it. Someone really engineered this thing,” Jesse says while taking the PedalMonster for a spin in Banks’ otherwise stock 2022 Tacoma 4×4.
Jesse runs the front office at Stellar Built, a leading 4×4 fabrication shop in Sacramento, California. Although they’ll work on just about anything with four wheels, they’ve been most recently praised for their extreme Toyota builds. Massive 42″ tires line the walls of their 18,000-square-foot facility. Thanks to many of his customers having Pedal Commanders, Jesse is all too familiar with the throttle controller’s jerky response and propensity to cause check engine lights and limp mode. So, Banks’ PedalMonster’s Active Safety circuitry was a welcome feature.
