R&D Update: Derringer for 2011-16 Ford 6.7L Super Duty
The Derringer for the 2017-19 6.7L Power Stroke was released recently and the response has been incredible (join the Derringer Ford 6.7L Owners Facebook Group for real-world reviews). But R&D on the 6.7L isn’t done yet! Testing is currently underway on a Derringer for the 2011-16 Power Stroke.
Since the Derringer is the only tuner on the market that connects to the truck’s OBD-II diagnostic port, the Electrical Engineering team (“EE” as we call them), are mining this data stream for all useful signals needed to get the most power and torque possible, while doing it safely. Like its sibling for the ‘17-19 6.7L, the Derringer for the ’11-16 will offer impressive horsepower and torque gains. It will also feature Banks-exclusives like AutoRate® dynamic tuning, TransCommand® transmission safety system, and ActiveSafety®, which seamlessly reverts your truck to back to stock power should a fault occur. No other tuner on the market has these performance and safety features! According to the “EE” team, they’re aiming to have the new Derringer available before the end of July. Stay tuned!
