RAM 6.7L Sound and Power
Tyson Broom hadn’t modified his 2017 RAM 3500 other than putting on larger wheels and tires before making his video about installing the Banks Ram-Air. His thoughts about the upgrade are that it would naturally improve performance, but what he wanted most was to improve the sound of the turbo. “I know Banks designed this system for performance, but honestly, I’m looking forward to the sound!”
After demonstrating how the truck sounded stock he goes about installing the Ram-Air system. But did it make the sound he was looking for? “Oh yeah, you can really hear the difference. You can REALLY hear the turbo. You couldn’t hear the turbo whistle before at all! That’s a huge difference! I’m digging this, big time! The way this thing sounds… it just makes you want to get in it and drive it all of the time.”
The Banks Ram-Air Intake feeds your Cummins engine cooler, denser, outside air for greater power and fuel economy, beating aFe, S&B, Injen, and of course, stock.
