Aaron Cole’s 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax 6.6-liter
Aaron Cole reflects on his decision to buy the Banks Monster Exhaust: “Every time we stopped on a trip to get something out of the front of the trailer we noticed that the passenger side of it was extremely hot with the stock exhaust on the truck,” said Aaron, “and the other side was cool to the touch. Luckily the front had diamond platting on it, or it would have gone beyond just being hot. I was getting a new trailer that didn’t have that protective plating in the front, so it was then that we started to look into a better exhaust that would protect our new investment. I had already ordered the Banks Derringer, PedalMonster, and Ram-Air so I decided to take a look to see what Banks had for exhaust systems. I liked what I saw because the exhaust tip is positioned to the side, away from my trailer. I have no worries now because not only am I running a clean tune but even when the truck goes into regen all that exhaust heat is directed away from my new trailer.”
When asked about what he thought about all the other Banks equipment that he installed on his 2017 GMC Aaron’s response was an enthusiastic “Oh, we love it all! I belong to a veteran’s travel trailer group that tries to go out on the road together at least 22 weekends out of the year. There’s a couple that has an identical truck as mine, and I let them try it out with all the Banks gear on it. Immediately after driving it the wife said that I needed to make a list of what I bought because they needed to order it all for theirs. They ended up getting everything I had, and we always leave the rest of the group in the dust!”
