Justin Ledbetter gets Banks for Duramax Trucks

Justin Ledbetter isn’t one to leave any of his vehicle’s stock. He chose Banks to be his go-to place for extra power. He knew Banks was synonymous with Diesel, so adding a Derringer to his 2018 GMC Denali was a no-brainer. When it came to his gas-powered truck… well that was a different story as he explains.

“The 1500 was purchased because I own a mobile detailing company,” explains Justin. “So I needed something to pull my trailer. I ended up putting a 6.5” lift on it and 20×12 American Force Blade wheels running 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers. When I started to pull the trailer, I noticed that the transmission was shifting funnily. It didn’t adapt to the changes that I had done, and it was jumping in and out of gears. This was super frustrating! I knew that I was pretty happy with the Banks product on my diesel, so I took a look at the website to see if there was anything that could help with the 1500.”

Justin Ledbetter's Silverado got an update from Banks to help haul his detailing trailer.

“It was kinda by chance because I only know Banks as the diesel place, and I didn’t think they did anything for gas. I came across the AutoMind and did some research on it, which all seemed to be really positive. I’ll tell you what… I couldn’t be happier with the purchase! It was mind-blowing the difference it made with the program and the shifting of the transmission. I was happy with how much power I got from the Derringer, Monster Exhaust, and Ram-Air in my Duramax so I knew I’d get something good from it, but the results that I got out of my 1500 was beyond my expectations! Even the MPG got better. I use to get five to six mpg pulling my 29-ft camper with it, but now I get around 11!”

Justin couldn’t keep it to himself about his purchase. “I couldn’t stop talking about it! People actually got sick of me raving about what the programmer did for my truck. I even had my buddy drive the truck set back to stock for about 15 miles and then again with the changes loaded back in. He was floored and ended up buying an AutoMind two weeks later for his 2011 truck. Feeling the difference…he couldn’t help being automatically sold.”

Justin leaves nothing about his trucks in stock.
