Partnering with MIND Research Institute, Banks Power awarded a field trip to the NHRA Museum to the two top performing (measured by progress through the ST Math program) classes at Belvedere and Eastman Elementary Schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
The ST Math program is a visually-based, blended learning solution for teaching and learning math. Aligned to Common Core State Standards, the instructional software program has shown to dramatically increase math test scores across the country for students who struggle with language (English Language Learners) as well as those who are high-performing.
“I am very pleased to support this program that provides students with an engaging and fun way to achieve success in math through technology, said Gale Banks, President and CEO, Banks Power.
Research has shown that early math skills increase academic success. Our children need to master math literacy in order to compete for the jobs available today (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics). The math program developed by ST Math is already being taught to over 200,000 California students.
