Sean Rodriguez, 2020 Jeep Wrangler EcoDiesel

Sean has been running the Banks PedalMonster and iDash DataMonster combo for about a month now under our Test Pilot program. When asked for his opinion of the product his response was rather enthusiastic. “I just wrote in and said that I didn’t know whether to WOW or HOLY S***, because it totally changes the thing! When I bought it I could feel that it had torque, but I couldn’t get to it. I had to be halfway down on the pedal to get anything. Once the PedalMonster went in the torque was immediate, and I have only had it set at SPORT 4! Even at that setting, the throttle response is so immediate.”

To Sean, the fact that the plug-in electronic PedalMonster makes such an amazing night and day different was reinforced with a recent experience. “I just went to Rebel Off-Road where they had re-geared it to 4.88 to try to get a more usable powerband. The owner drove to mine and immediately told me that he hated me, that the PedalMonster totally changed the drivability of the Jeep and that even re-geared the rig still feels like it’s missing something. You just can’t really get to that sweet spot without the PedalMonster, and it should be mandatory on all vehicles.”

As for the iDash DataMonster that was coupled with the PedalMonster it’s also a welcome addition. “I like the iDash because I can easily see all the temperatures that I want to see, and it shows me what gear the vehicle is in. I find that important because it lets me know where the power sweet spot is. All in all these two Banks products have really improved the driving experience of my brand new Jeep!”
