JMS failed. Then he went Banks.

Even though his 2018 Silverado HD truck is already tuned, Jay Bourgeois took a chance and came to Banks for a Ram-Air Intake to get it to breathe better. “The intake was very well made, and it fit perfectly with no issues whatsoever, right into the factory bolt holes. The online instructions from Banks made everything easy. I mean, from the time that I opened the box to the time I was starting up my truck it was 30 minutes!”

Banks PedalMonster and iDash in Silverado HD

“I was so happy with how the Ram-Air turned out that I bought a PedalMonster and an iDash. I already had my truck tuned, and even with all of the power that I already had, the PedalMonster made a huge difference! I drive it around in SPORT level 3, or I knock it down to about CITY level 10 if traffic gets too congested. Before this, I had a JMS PedalMAX throttle controller, and it had multiple faults. It even left me stranded on the side of the road, and I needed to reset everything. What I like about the PedalMonster is that it plugs into the OBD for uninterrupted power, and then with the iDash, I have all the information I didn’t have before. I don’t have to be worried about the PedalMonster because it hasn’t given me an inch of problems. Oh, and I love the built-in Speed Trim and the Reverse Safety. That truck can be twitchy, so I like that I can set it with the Speed Trim so that I don’t get the surge of power below 10 mph. With the JMS PowerMAX, I’d have to turn it down to zero, then go into reverse.”

“I really like that I can have the PedalMonster control and info all on one screen. If I want to see other info, all I need to do is press a button and switch screens to see another page. I’m really happy that I went with Banks, especially since it won’t leave me on the side of the road.”
