Giving a 2014 Raptor More Teeth
“I installed a Ram-Air Intake for his Raptor on my 2014 Raptor with the 6.2L,” explained Andrew. “The system was pretty simple to install. I love that the box is made out of strong plastic that won’t hold heat like a lot of other aftermarket intakes. The Ram-Air port is up and under the hood, so water getting in is not an issue. It came with simple instructions that have good detail and had lots of pictures to reference. After the installation, the truck seems to get a little better mpg by about .5 to 1 mpg. Pretty impressive because the truck isn’t tuned.” The reason Andrew is seeing a fuel economy improvement is due to the patented intake system’s 5% air density increase. Denser air means there more oxygen is packed into each intake stroke.
“The intake has a nice tone at low RPMs and cruising, and at higher RPM you can hear it a little more, which I like. The fit is perfect under the hood of my 2014 Raptor. All in all, I’m very happy with the product. If you’re looking for a ram air intake, but with a closed-box design, this is the intake for you. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
