Dealership Trusts PedalMonster

Accessories Specialist Ryan Swanstrom has a rich history in creating aftermarket departments within dealerships. He knows what works and what is junk. “I started doing accessories back in 2015 at a place called Car Toys, where I ran a couple of stores in Washington state. I went on to a Ford dealer that was local and helped them create an accessories department. They got so busy with accessories that they made a new building to handle the demand. I moved to Tucson back in 2020 and started at my current dealership where I told them that accessories were a lucrative business. We started Jim Click Customs here at Jim Click Ford. We have nine dealerships in Tucson, and one down in Green Valley.”

So how did Banks get on his radar? “All of the installations are done in-house unless it’s Rhino Lining, leather, or vinyl work. I was taking a customer’s Bronco out for some leather work, and I called him up, asking him what the heck did he to the thing. It was absurd! He told me that he just installed the Banks PedalMonster. I told him that he had to have had it tuned, but it was just the PedalMonster on CITY level 6. So, when I bought my ’24 Bronco, I knew what I wanted and where to go. I didn’t hesitate because Banks is a reputable company that’s been around forever. The fantastic thing is how I can easily change the settings from TRACK mode to STOCK for off-road and rock crawling and then back to TRACK setting for the road home.”

“At the dealership, we don’t do any tuning unless it’s Roush or by Ford Performance, but the PedalMonster isn’t a tuner or a flash device. So, when customers come in asking for a tune, and Ford doesn’t make one for their vehicle, I always recommend the PedalMonster. And in the cases where they do make a tune, I still recommend PedalMonster. My company will not let us install any other throttle sensitivity devices BUT the PedalMonster because of the reputation and quality of Banks. And it’s because of that quality that we also install other Banks products. Recently for a customer’s 2019 Super Duty, we installed an ICON suspension, the Banks Ram-Air Differential Cover, the Monster ExhaustRam-Air Intake, an iDash with Stealth Pod, and obviously the PedalMonster. He calls me up all the time, telling me that he’s completely satisfied. In fact, last time he called, he mentioned that his F-250 feels like the Raptor that he traded in. Super happy customer. And why not… it all works, and it’s Banks.”
