Another Cummins Engine Failure
A few years ago, Brad Hunt at Protech Diesel Center in Kamloops, BC warned of RAM 6.7L grid heater bolt failure. Not only had he repaired several damaged engines, but he believed the problem would become more widespread as the trucks aged. In the years since, countless RAM owners from across the U.S. and Canada have reported failures. While hundreds have caught it in time, others have had to replace pistons, repair cylinders, and heads, and some have even had to replace entire engines. Last week Brad repaired yet another Cummins engine damaged by this pesky grid heater bolt. See why he recommends the Banks Monster-Ram Intake System.
