Gale Banks purchased a Mercury Marauder and modified it into a powerful, high-performance vehicle. He added a supercharger, water-meth injection, and upgraded suspension components to enhance its performance. The modified Marauder is capable of surprising even high-performance sports cars on the road.
Banks Power’s Straight-Shot water methanol injection system can be used as an intercooler spray to improve engine performance and reduce intake air temperatures. This system has been successfully used in various applications, including high-performance diesel trucks and race cars. By injecting a fine mist of water or methanol into the intercooler, the system helps to cool the intake air charge, increasing engine power and efficiency.
Banks Power, in partnership with Oshkosh Truck, has achieved a significant milestone with the award of a contract to build 17,000 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs).
