Paul Dallenbach, a seasoned Pikes Peak International Hill Climb racer, is aiming to reclaim the course record with his iconic Famous Dave’s car, now equipped with a Banks Power twin-turbo system. This American underdog team is taking on factory-backed competitors with their homegrown, high-horsepower machine. Dallenbach’s goal is to break the 10-minute barrier and bring the record back to the USA.
Banks Power has partnered with driver Paul Dallenbach and car owner Leonard Arnold to challenge the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb record. Dallenbach, a three-time champion, is aiming to reclaim his 1993 record using a Banks Power twin-turbo system on his Famous Dave’s Chevy SB1-powered car.
