More Power for Duramax Daily Driver

When longtime Banks customer Robert Budzen needed more power for his Duramax Daily Driver, he knew where to go–Banks. We caught up with him to see how he likes the Ram-Air IntakeDerringerPedalMonsteriDash SuperGauge, and the Ram-Air Rear Differential Cover on his 2020 GMC AT4. “I’ve been using Banks stuff for quite a while. I started putting Banks on back in ’99 with my Ford, and then I put some stuff on my 2003, and then I got more Banks parts when I got my 2015.”

The Banks Ram-Air Diff Cover is just one of the ways this Duramax is getting more power.

“The Derringer’s added power is impressive. I got my 2020 because of the 10-speed tranny, and it paid off because just that one-year difference got more power from the Derringer. (Derringer adds 61hp for 2017-19 Duramax and 81hp for 2020-2023 Duramax). The PedalMonster totally took the dead pedal away, but I have to admit that I haven’t tried that Track mode. Tires are expensive, and I aim to make mine last,” he says with a chuckle.

Robert’s truck is his daily driver, but come summertime he can be found trekking with his 35” Arctic Fox trailer. “It’s a pretty heavy trailer. I’ve towed with the Derringer and PedalMonster, and it was quite a difference from stock. I’m impressed, Banks really does their homework.” We’re glad you turned to Banks to get more power for your daily driver.
