Improving F-150 EcoBoost Air Density

Banks is widely known for its diesel offerings rather than gasoline enhancements. Take the Ford F-150 for example. If you own an EcoBoost, you know that it’s the best-selling truck in America. But what if you could make it even better? What if you could boost its performance and fuel economy just by improving the air density into the turbo inlet making its job easier? That’s exactly what Banks offers with its Ram-Air cold air intake system. For James it made sense.

“I’m very pleased with the installation of the Banks Ram-Air system on my 2017 F-150 EcoBoost 3.5L turbo. I watched Banks’ video and read the instructions first before attempting the installation, and I’m glad that I did. Everything was plainly written and about an hour and a half later I was done. A few OEM plumbing obstacles had to be moved around for a secure fitment before tightening everything into place, but overall, it was straightforward. The power is something that you can actually feel, and it’s super smooth! I really can’t tell if I’m getting any extra fuel economy because my foot is always in the throttle. It’s my fault… but I love the feeling and the sound. Good job, Banks!”
