Father and Son Find Power and MPG

“I’ve got everything for my truck but the Derringer tuner,” explains Sam Parks of his 2020 Ram 3500 dually. “I have the PowerPack Bundle (which includes the PedalMonster, the Ram-Air IntakeMonster-RamBoost Tube UpgradesMonster ExhaustiDash SuperGauge, and Ram-Air Differential Cover) and I equipped my son’s 2019 RAM 2500 exactly the same. All of the Banks equipment is top-notch. I’ve been a mechanic all my life, working on everything with wheels or wings. As an example, if you order parts for a Caterpillar, you get a box full of parts just rolling around. When You get a part from Banks, everything is bubble-wrapped and well-protected. Coming from California to Ohio—that’s a good distance—parts get beat and kicked around, but when we opened the boxes, NOTHING was scratched. To show up undamaged was just a plus. Everything fit perfectly, all the hardware was the right specs, the directions were there, and most everything had a video to back things up. It was harder to take things apart than to put on the Banks parts on.”

More important than performance to both Sam and his son was mileage, and they found both with Banks. “We were looking for fuel mileage because we share a 34′ toy hauler. The places that we go, well those aren’t short tows. Plus, we have a 24′ car trailer to take our cars to shows and competitions. And, we have a side-by-side trailer. Our trucks aren’t rolling unless they are towing something. In my dually going down the highway unloaded it’d get 18-19 mpg, but as soon as you hook a trailer, you’re getting like 8 mpg. It just sucks both fuel and DEF fluid. With all the Banks gear installed, mileage has increased 4 mpg when towing. With the throttle response from the PedalMonster, the air increases from the Boost Tubes and the Monster-Ram, getting the PowerPack Bundle made everything worthwhile.”
