Copperhead Diesel Performance

This week’s Dealer Spotlight shines its light on Copperhead Diesel Performance in Chandler, Arizona. To owner Sean Jaeger it all started out as an idea of what to do when exiting the Service. “I was in the Army and was looking at what I wanted to do after I got out in May of 2013, and Copperhead just started as an idea on how to sell things online. Back then there weren’t any Duramax specialty shops here in the Phoenix area, and that was the platform that I liked the most.”

Sean continues, “I grew up owning Chevy trucks. A buddy of mine had a small shop and he wanted to rent out some space, so we decided to do some installs of add-on parts. The shop’s popularity exploded within the local diesel community. Today, we’re full service, working on Ford, Ram, and GM. We do anything here from routine maintenance and drivability diagnostics to full engine and transmission overhauls.”

What started out as a small rented space in a buddy’s shop turned into a 5,000 sq. ft. shop, eventually morphing into today’s 12,000 sq. ft. facility. “We’ve grown and we plan to keep growing. It started out as just me and some friends. Today the crew includes six highly skilled mechanics. I’m actually looking to increase our staff by three or four more techs in the next few months.” Congrats on the growing business, Sean!
