Matt’s title at Banks is Manager of Design, Assembly & Test of Engine Programs. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Banks’ projects and crate engine program and went over in detail the different materials used, design constraints, and production of cast parts VS. billet and rapid prototyped heads, which also have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Matt Gamble goes into great detail about the cast cylinder head design.

In talking to customers at trade shows, Matt heard that most people don’t get to understand what goes into the design of cylinder heads. When AERA asked him to do a webinar, he knew exactly what he wanted to talk about. Matt broke down every single step of the process, from casting advantages to disadvantages to terminology.

This informative webinar is worth checking out for anyone curious about cast cylinder heads. Grab a notebook because Matt provides a lot of useful information. Even the Q&A portion of the livestream is informative. You can watch Matt work his engineer and design magic on Banks Built.
