An engineer’s nightmare | Banks Built Ep 34

It’s not enough just to drop a Whipple SUPERCHARGED 2022 Duramax diesel engine into a slammed 1966 Chevy C20 pickup. Nope. We wanted to make an engineer’s nightmare. We want to show off the engine, chassis, and other performance parts by uniquely opening the hood and bed. Unfortunately, turning the old truck into a Pagani-like supercar with an opposing hood and bed is turning out to be a bigger chore than we bargained for. Luckily, our engine bay is turning out to be a work of art.

After taking a stress-reducing walk, engineer Erik gets back to work disassembling the original factory welds. Jay and Matt from the Banks team come in to help Eric. We jump over to Sea at Empire Fabrication to see how the intake system is coming along. It’s anything but an engineer’s nightmare.

Erik can't be defeated by an engineer's nightmare

Will the Banks team wake up from this nightmare in time for the SEMA show? It’s getting down to crunch time. Stay tuned to Banks Built to see the latest progress on LokJaw.
