Jocelyn, a VW enthusiast, is building a custom Westfalia Syncro with a TDI ALH engine. To monitor various engine parameters, she installed a Banks iDash SuperGauge and multiple analog sensor modules. The iDash provides a comprehensive display of vital information, including engine temperature, oil pressure, and boost pressure, helping her fine-tune the vehicle’s performance and ensure optimal operation.
Hunter, owner of diesel performance parts company Underdog-Diesel.com, installed a Banks iDash SuperGauge in his non-diesel 2022 VW Jetta.
Despite specializing in diesels, Hunter appreciates the iDash’s ability to display and record engine data for performance monitoring, regardless of fuel type. The iDash’s customizable display and data recording features make it a valuable tool for any car enthusiast.
Banks Power collaborated with Robert Bosch Corporation to create the Sidewinder Jetta, a high-performance diesel-powered Volkswagen Jetta. The project involved a series of modifications, including engine tuning, intake and exhaust upgrades, and suspension enhancements. The Sidewinder Jetta became a popular demonstration vehicle for Bosch and served as a testbed for future diesel technologies.
