Rainman Ray Knows Duramax Airflow
Ray is not only a skilled mechanic but his on-camera persona has endeared him to over a half million viewers weekly. “Rainman” Ray’s latest video starts with an exclamation: “Holy smokes, this thing has some get up and go!” as he takes his customer’s 2020 Chevy Silverado for a test drive. Picking up where he left off in a previous video where he had installed a Banks Ram-Air Intake and started the Boost Tube Upgrade, Ray went to work finishing the job of getting more power-enriched colder air in and out of the intercooler with less restriction. Concentrating on replacing the stock 2″ compressor outlet pipe for the Banks 3″ mandrel-bent tube, Ray goes about showing the ins and outs of the installation which is his signature style of comedy.
But Ray’s not done adding power-enhancing products to his customer’s Duramax. He’ll soon be adding a Banks Ram-Air Differential Cover, a Monster Exhaust System, The Derringer Tuner with iDash SuperGauge, AirMouse sensor module, and PedalMonster. We’ll be keeping our eyes out for the third installment in this GM performance trilogy.
