This Cherokee is Pack’n a Revolver

Kevin Zimmerman’s 1996 Jeep Cherokee has been built to take his family over the most rugged terrain to find just the right spot to get away from it all. But those larger, heavy tires and camping gear saddle down the 4.0L something fierce. “It’s not a daily driver. It’s more of a project vehicle for us. Something for us to go off-road adventuring and camping with. It pulls a little trailer that I built for all of our camping stuff. Towing the trailer and spinning 35” tires takes all of the available power. The engine’s been rebuilt with a more aggressive cam, but it still needed more.”

“I was considering getting a cheap knockoff, but after hearing some very favorable reviews on The Truck Show Podcast, I decided to bite the bullet and get something from a more reputable company. The Banks Revolver Exhaust Header is constructed better than the stock piece and definitely gives the Jeep more snap, even with the built engine. All in all, I’m very happy with it, and I’m looking forward to some newfound pep on our next trip as we hit the trails.”
