Heavy Hauler Gets Help

Tyson hauls machinery around Nova Scotia with his 2021 Ford F-450 6.7L Platinum Super Duty. After installing a new Banks Ram-Air system, he gives an in-depth review of the cold air intake. He also explains why he likes the PedalMonster throttle sensitivity booster and iDash DataMonster.

The PedalMonster makes the truck so much fun to drive.

The Ford heavy hauler often tows three backhoes at a time. “After installing the PedalMonster, the truck is phenomenal while towing. It makes it feel like the load’s not even back there.”

Tyson was astonished when he unboxed the Ram-Air Intake and saw the size of the Banks Big-Ass® Filter. After installation, he was enamored with the seamless fit of the scoop. The Banks Ram-Air removes the restrictive stock S-shaped plastic snorkel for a straight connection to the front scoop.

For the final test of the truck, Tyson loads up a flatbed trailer with his other Ford and tools for a total weight of 18,000 LBS. Not only could he accelerate with ease, but he also hauls the load up a hill with speed.

Tyson gives Banks a 10/10 for installation ease, look, and quality of upgrade to his heavy hauler. This isn’t Tyson’s first review of Banks, and with how satisfied he is, we’re sure it won’t be his last.
