Accutech: Knowledge Equals Automotive Excellence

Jonathan Rice started turning wrenches when he was just a junior in high school working part-time at a local GM dealership. He impressed them enough that after graduating high school they sent him to a two-year program to learn every aspect of a GM vehicle. After a six-year stint with GM, Jonathan moved on to repairing farming and commercial equipment. Thirsty to continue adding to his skills, Jon got certified to work on firetrucks. On July 5th, 2011 he decided the next step. He decided to open his own shop, Accutech.

It wasn’t that easy as he opened with no clients. Rather than sitting and waiting, Jonathan went out and knocked on doors rustling up every bit of business and accounts that he could. His hard work paid off. Today, he and his staff are pretty busy with new work being about a two-week wait. He’s currently looking at adding on to the building so that he can add more techs to keep up with demand at Accutech.

Jonathan uses Banks products because of their dependability. “Banks name is HUGE, and I love offering the Banks product line to our customers because I don’t have to worry about it failing. Reliability, no issues, that’s the most important thing. I’ve seen customers get hosed too many times by cheap parts and sub-par mechanics. It’s something personal to me after seeing my own parents taken for fools by mechanics that didn’t know what they were doing. That will NEVER happen here—ever!”
