R&D Update: Rear Differential Cover

As the release date quickly approaches for the GM/RAM 14-bolt Banks rear differential cover, the Mechanical Engineering Team is making final refinements to the Ford version. The highly engineered and tested diecast aluminum cover will share the same patent-pending Ram-Air scoops as its 14-bolt brother as well as the internal oil raceway and axle tube deflectors, heat absorbers and external radiators, providing unparalleled fluid dynamics and thermal management. All Banks cover specs and competitive test data will be presented when the on-sale date is announced next month.

The forthcoming Banks rear differential cover will fit Ford 12-bolt rear differentials with a 10.25”-10.5” ring gear from 1985-present.
