Banks Equipped Truck Makes GM Tech Jealous
Brian Robert’s 2021 GMC Denali Duramax is his daily driven monster. He seems to have a running problem with the word “stock.” You see when he gets a vehicle, he wants all of the power he was promised. “I never leave anything stock, and this truck is no exception. Before this truck I had I have a 2017 1500 Denali with a gas engine. I started with headers, exhaust, did the cam, everything electronic, performance tune, and everything else that I could. I want things to have power, to unleash the beast.” When it came time for his Duramax to get upgraded chose to go all Banks with the Derringer Tuner with iDash SuperGauge, the PedalMonster, Banks Ram-Air intake, Monster-Exhaust, and Boost Tube Upgrade.
“I put pretty much everything on myself, except for the boost tubes. I didn’t think that I was going to have all the right tools so I took it to the local GM dealer and their diesel mechanic did it for me. Taking it out for the first time, all I could think was holy cow, did it ever make a difference! It was like riding a tricycle at my size and then getting on a CBR 900RR. It was insane. That Derringer and PedalMonster… WOW! It came alive! She’s a completely different truck.”
“One of these days I’m gunna pick up that guy from the GM dealer and take him out for lunch and let him drive the truck. As it is he said that he’s pretty jealous.”
