Noticeably Cooler Rear End

Kyle’s 2005 RAM 3500 dually was made for towing, and the Ram-Air Differential Cover is the latest upgrade he’s made to his Cummins-powered beast. “The Ram-Air Differential Cover is the most recent Banks part that I’ve upgraded my truck with,” said Kyle. “I’ve got the Intercooler Upgrade with High-Ram Intake ManifoldSix-Gun TunerRam-Air Intake, the Super-Scoop, and Monster Exhaust System. Some of it came with the truck and I thought, well, I might as well just keep going.”

“I’ve been a diesel guy for years, but I could never afford to tune anything the way I wanted to, but since this truck already had some stuff on it when I bought it, how could I just stop? The guy that owned it before me took really good care of the truck, and he used to pull a 24,000 lb. fifth wheel with it. I, however, pull something substantially smaller: a 33 ft toy hauler. One of the other upgrades that he did was adding an auxiliary fuel tank which gave the truck an additional 55-gallon capacity. With the power and mileage that I’m getting that fuel will go a long way!”

“The Ram-Air Differential Cover made a huge difference in the differential temp. I put the cover on with just around 190K miles on the odometer, and I’m just wanting to fortify what I already have. The sight glass is great, the cover itself looks fantastic, and the oil changes going forward should be a breeze.”
