Eastern Truck and Accessories

After 17 years of working as an electrician, Eastern Truck & Accessories owner Mike Slater decided to follow his passion for all things off-road and turn it into a business. 20 years later, the business has grown from just two people to 10. With its 8 bays, “ETA” concentrates mostly on the exact thing it has done since opening its doors: Jeep and truck suspension lifts, wheels, and performance.

ETA has held its annual open house for 19 years (its 20-year streak was interrupted by COVID). This year it’s happening on May 21, starting at 10 am. Not only has it always been a festive get-together with demos, lunch, and education, but all proceeds from the raffles and product auctions go to cystic fibrosis treatment and research. This year will be the 5th year that they’ll raffle off a vehicle upgraded with parts from various respected partners. “It’s kind of fun to do something like this for the guys,” says Mike. “It raises good money for a great cause.” At $20 bucks per ticket, getting a tricked-out off-road vehicle isn’t a bad gamble.

One of the first product lines that ETA carried was Banks. “I’ve run Banks products in most of my builds. I built my first truck with Banks in 2002. It’s a 7.3L 6-door dually. For about 10 years it was the company icon truck, and I still have it to this day. It’s awesome!”
