’22 Raptor owned by Ultra 4 Champ PedalMonster

As a three-time Ultra 4 (King of the Hammers) champion, Jason Scherer expects a razor-sharp throttle response. Unfortunately, he doesn’t get that response in his ’22 Ford Raptor. So, he tested a PedalMonster throttle sensitivity controller and was blown away.

“I love the ’22 Raptor, but when you get the twin-turbos and there’s a torque management issue going on from the drivetrain, it’s got a slow-to-respond feel to it.”

“Most of the time you’re not wide-open throttle. You’re driving around town, or in and out of a parking lot. Or trying to get through a corner and enjoy a mountain road… Doing quarter to half throttle is where this makes such a difference. The Banks system is actually giving you the full travel of the pedal. As a result, it gives you a response in the middle where you want and not where you don’t.”

PedalMonster is the only module of its kind to offer safety features like ActiveSafety®, Reverse Safety, and Adjustable Low-Speed Trim. Because this is his daily driver, Jason loves the responsiveness of the pedal and the safety features to keep him safe in his ’22 Raptor.

PedalMonster isn’t just for the Raptors. Ford owners with a variety of models trust Banks to get a better pedal response.
