Custom Offset Shows how to Prevent RAM Failure

Cody Banker of Custom Offsets recently purchased a RAM 6.7L. Although known for being one of the toughest trucks on the market, it’s not without its shortcomings. “The whole reason why I bought this 5th-gen RAM was to use it as a farm truck. A majority of the time we’ll be using it to pull horses and in the Winter we’ll pull a snowmobile trailer.

There are some things with the 5th-gen Cummins that leave a little bit to be desired and it could use some upgrades.” While power and economy were two areas Cody thought needed attention, the main area was the engine’s longevity which meant making sure the grid heater bolt will never have a chance to kill his truck’s engine.

Cody Banker of Custom Offsets explains how the Banks Monster-Ram prevents RAM engine failure.

Cody spoke with the experts at Banks. Then was set up with parts to ensure his RAM will be reliable for years to come. Including a Monster-Ram manifoldBoost TubesRam-Air Intake, and the 5” Monster Exhaust. The short but informative video goes over each product. The need for the Monster-Ram is emphatically a must-have.

“If you own a 6.7L Cummins, 4th or 5th gen, YOU NEED this,” Cody exclaims! “It’s not a matter of it being a good upgrade. It’s a necessary upgrade. There are so many people that are doing this after their truck has already blown up after they’ve had to buy a new engine. It’s one step closer to bulletproofing an already strong engine.”
