Massive brakes for ’66 Chevy | BANKS BUILT 24
With massive power comes the need for massive brakes and that’s just what we get this week. Michael Hamrick from Wilwood brings a stack of boxes to Banks. The boxes include 15.5″ rotors to help hault the Duramax.
Gale announces his top speed goal for our ’66 Chevy pickup. But getting to that speed isn’t the issue. It’s stopping power that we’ll need help with. That’s where Wilwood Engineering comes in. We need a TX6R big brake kit front and rear. Wait until you see the size of these calipers and rotors.

After this, it’s time to start fabricating! Erik and Matt rip out the last of the wiring under the dashboard to make room for a custom bracket that’ll support the steering column, brake pedal assembly, and master cylinder.
