Better Breathing Made Easy
James O’Neill wanted to improve his new 2022 Ram 3500 HD’s breathing so he installed the Banks Boost Tubes, Monster Ram Intake, and the Ram-Air Intake at the same time. “The truck is a little sluggish with the Aisin transmission, so I was looking for more performance and better breathing. What I really need to do is get a PedalMonster, too! I had a PedalMonster and a Derringer on my F-250, but I traded it in so I’m missing that rush. I’m looking forward to getting one for this truck.”
We know he’s missing his PedalMonster, but the real question is if he notices a difference with his new Banks trio. “The response when you get into boost is fantastic. You can really feel the difference from the stock system. Also, this is the first time that I’ve gone through since putting it all on and I’m getting about 10% better economy. Mind you, this is going the same route, same weather as before. Same everything, which means better power and more MPG.”
“I’ve put Banks products on all my trucks since my 5.9L Cummins in ’93. I might go through trucks, but they all have to have Banks on them because the performance is great. I’m a car dealer with a RAM and Chevy store, I see some of the stuff that people have on their trucks and what they’ve done to them… and the quality is just crap. You get what you pay for with Banks, which is the real deal.”
