Pleat depth: Using business card or piece of paper, push it into the base of a pleat. Draw a line flush with the peak (outside edge) of pleat. Measure distance from your line to the edge of the paper. This is your pleat depth.

Pleat height: Measure the distance (top to bottom) of the visible filtration media between the two layers of black polyurethane. For a round filter it is the distance between the base and top.

Pleat count: Starting with the metal clip (aluminum strip embedded in filter) go around the filter counting the peaks of pleats.
