There’s No Stopping this Banks-Energized Gladiator

Richard Hathaway has been a Banks fan since he was able to drive. I’ve always had Banks products on my trucks in the past,” said Richard. “They’ve always been diesels. I don’t have any big trucks anymore, so when I got the Gladiator it was a no-brainer to go with Banks.” Richard ended up buying the Derringer tunerPedalMonster throttle response controller, and iDash SuperGauge altogether. “Technically it’s a daily driver, but I do go off onto trails. It see a lot of rocks, tree stumps, tight turns, and a lot of snow right now. Currently, I have a 2” lift, and I quickly learned that it wasn’t enough. I’m fixing that next.”

Richard loves his added power and has dialed everything in just right. “I found my ideal settings for both the PedalMonster and the Derringer within a few days, and I’ve kept it that way ever since. I haven’t even messed with things individually, because they work so well together that there’s just no need to.

The Derringer is all the way on level 6, and the PedalMonster is on SPORT (level 6 as well). The torque is phenomenal! It takes little to no effort to climb over stuff. I laugh because we will sit on a trail covered in snow, and while everyone is slipping and sliding with lockers on I can be in first gear low—let off the brake and touch the pedal one time and the truck will continue to climb no matter how steep the hill is.” Richard sees exactly what he wants to see on the iDash. Once he set up his ideal screen he’s kept it that way. “Just like the other stuff it’s set where I like it, and I’m going to keep it that way. I’m sure there’s a bunch more that I can see and things that I can use, but it’s fine the way that it is.”

Richard recently let a trail buddy who had a similarly configured Gladiator try out his truck, and he was so impressed that he immediately bought the exact same package. “You can’t argue with what the system does, and that’s why I’ve been buying Banks for years.”
