Sprinter PedalMonster: Better Throttle Response
“I tried Pedal Commander and had nothing but problems. When will Banks PedalMonster support Sprinters?” – Tom G., Pacific Palisades, CA
Tom, we’ve heard your plea. PedalMonster will soon be available for all 2008-2024 Sprinter vans, gas and diesel! Since Banks PedalMonster launched in 2021, we’ve heard from Sprinter owners requesting help with their vans’ sluggish throttle response. With so many vans converted to overlanders and RVs, the added weight has exacerbated the issue. With added weight, throttle response becomes even more lethargic. With 150 tunable pedal contours, PedalMonster sharpens response and makes driving a pleasure. Click below to be notified as soon as they’re ready to ship.
Sprinter PedalMonster: Current Fitment and Options
Update — October 16, 2026: The Sprinter PedalMonster announcement above reflects the original launch plans. Banks now lists kits for 2008–2026 Sprinter 1500–3500 gas and diesel applications.
PedalMonster changes how your accelerator input commands torque delivery. It helps drivers tailor pedal response to their preferences without adding engine horsepower.
The current product page describes 30 Master Torque Response Curves and five speed-based Launch Trim levels. These adjustments let you balance initial response with the pedal feel you prefer during everyday driving.
Banks also describes ActiveSafety circuitry and Reverse Safety, which restores stock response when reversing. Before ordering, confirm your van’s exact application and choose the appropriate standalone or iDash kit.
For camper conversions and daily-use vans, adjustable response gives drivers more control over how accelerator movement feels. It does not increase payload capacity or replace the engine’s available power.
