Salvage 2 Savage Adds 100hp to ’18 Duramax
The world knows Salvage 2 Savage for their Tesla-powered C10 pickup. But the recent notoriety for electrifying pickups hasn’t quelled shop owner Mike Rolleri’s love for internal combustion engines. In fact, Mike recently got the bug to add power to S2S’s shop truck. Mike purchased the 2018 GMC Denali HD truck brand new to pull his tool and dump trailers (he was in construction before opening the customization shop). After sitting in LokJaw, our Banks R866SC Supercharged Duramax-powered ’66 pickup shown at last year’s SEMA Show, Mike decided to go all-in with his Duramax.
His latest video goes over the installation of a Ram-Air Intake, iDash DataMonster, gauge pillar mount, Derringer Tuner, PedalMonster, 5” Monster Exhaust, and a Ram-Air Differential Cover. Mike and his head tech, Andrew Rivera, team up to install the bevy of Banks equipment.
All summed up, the Banks products offer class-exclusive safety features, more miles per gallon, and more power. How much? About +100 HP. After a few romps around town, Mike explains, “I know it’s a little out of sorts from our normal content, but we hope that you all enjoyed it. I’m smiling from ear to ear! It’s a big, BIG gain!”
