5th Gen RAM 6.7L Cummins Gets Full Banks Performance Upgrades
“This mounting bracket, the Stealth Pod, is one of the best iDash mounts I’ve seen,” says Josh, a RAM master mechanic. “The iDash mounts perfectly off of the handle cover. This thing is just amazing! I love the iDash. The wiring is super simple, and it’s just beyond my expectations.”

Josh has given Banks some great shout-outs about our Monster-Ram for the 2007.5-2024 6.7L Cummins engines. In his latest video, he installs more Banks goodies on a customer’s 5th Gen Ram. The truck already has a Monster-Ram and Ram-Air Intake, and the customer bought just about everything available from Banks. Josh proceeds to install a Monster Exhaust, Ram-Air Differential Cover, the new iDash Pro, a Stealth Pod gauge mount, and a PedalMonster.

The Ram-Air Differential Cover was next. “I just can never get over how good these things look! Perfect fit. The fins catch air and redirect it back through the cover!”
Last on the parts parade was the 5″ Monster Exhaust System. “The exhaust fits like a glove. Looks tight, but it isn’t touching anywhere. I don’t have one thing to complain about. It’s so easy to put on that you can put it on in your garage.”

Complete 5th Gen Ram 6.7L Cummins Performance System
Josh’s customer transformed this 5th Gen Ram into a fully synchronized diesel tow rig. Upgrading the induction system pairs the high-flow Ram-Air intake with the high-mass Monster-Ram intake elbow. This combination eliminates the dangerous factory grid heater bolt while maximizing cylinder air density. Downstream, the 5-inch Monster Exhaust system slashes turbine backpressure by up to 9 percent. The patented ob-round SideKick tip evacuates hot exhaust gases smoothly to lower continuous towing temperatures.
Inside the cab, the OBD-II connected PedalMonster eliminates dead pedal lag with patented active safety protection. The iDash Pro sits seamlessly in the A-pillar Stealth Pod, monitoring manifold air density in real time. Underneath the chassis, the Ram-Air differential cover actively cools gear oil across long commercial hauls. Installing these complementary Banks engineering upgrades creates an ultra-reliable Cummins build ready for extreme workload demands.
