Adding Pep to Duramax 3.0L
“First of all, I love my truck,” says Buddy Wayne about his 3-liter diesel-powered 2023 Silverado 1500. “It has a good engine, and it’s really a good truck already, but that PedalMonster just woke it up! Its on-demand power ratio is immediate. There’s no lag. When I want the power, it’s just right there, and that’s just on CITY level 7. What is also great is that I was able to go into the menu, and use the SPEED TRIM option, and adjust the power delivery, essentially smoothing the transition to be just how I wanted it. It’s great that it has that kind of tunablity.
“I like the iDash SuperGauge because I can have the regen percentage and the def level right there at a glance,” explains the Louisana native. With that Stealth Pod Mount, it’s perfectly positioned at eye level. I can have that on my dash, but I have to dig for it. With the iDash, it’s right there. I set my digital dash up to minimalistic, so it doesn’t have the tachometer. I just put it on the iDash. I’m also monitoring Regen %, DEF level, and PedalMonster activity. Both this iDash and the PedalMonster are great products, and I highly recommend them to anyone that I talk to.”
