RoadKill’s 1972 AMC Hornet gets Banks-ified

MotorTrend’s Jacob T. needed a way to monitor his heavily modified 1972 AMC Hornet Sportabout that lacks a modern OBD system. Banks Power’s iDash 1.8 DataMonster and a suite of analog sensors provided the solution. Jacob installed exhaust gas temperature sensors, an air intake sensor, and coolant temperature sensor to monitor various engine functions and diagnose potential issues. The Hornet will be featured in a future MotorTrend video showcasing the Banks Power installation.

Why the Boost Gauge is Dead
