LLY Ram-Air Intake and SuperScoop

With the cost of new diesel trucks in the same range as a house in some areas it makes sense to get at an older truck and make it more powerful and efficient. There are plenty of them out there for Ford, GM, and Ram fans, and the best part is that parts are already available. Spoolin Boost recently took a 2004.5 LLY Duramax and outfitted it with a Banks Ram-Air Intake and a SuperScoop. The Ram-Air intake supplies the engine with cooler air temps, unblocks restrictive airflow, lowers EGTs, and adds horsepower and torque that you can feel. The SuperScoop increases all of those benefits by ramming in colder, denser air from just under the bumper.
