Andy Romero’s 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL 3.6L

Andy Romero recently reached out to us with some really kind words about his newly installed Banks Ram-Air for his wife’s 2020 Jeep Wrangler.

“I took like three weeks just looking through all of the different intake kits out there,” says Andy. “Since I didn’t know much about diesels so I wasn’t familiar with Banks. But every time I read up on product reviews and searched for recommendations on forums the Banks name kept coming up. I liked what I was seeing. It came down between Banks and AFE, and the Banks one was actually a little less expensive so I thought I’d give it a go. I was totally surprised at the size of that gigantic filter (literally the size of my wife’s head), how easy it was to install, and the sound we get from it. Now when we press on the throttle, we get to hear the engine! We can’t wait to go for drives just so that we can hear it. This is our first Jeep. All my wife’s past cars have been BMW’s, but one day she decided that she wanted to switch things up. Now it’s all about the Jeep, and she wants to lift it and do all sorts of upgrades.”

“I think Banks won over my father-in-law, too. He’s pretty particular about what he likes and set in his ways and questioned why I went with Banks for the intake instead of going with another brand. After one drive he changed his mind telling me that it was a good purchase. Now Banks has another fan.”
