Tacoma Experts Blown Away

Jared from Yota Xpedition put together a great video about the installation of the PedalMonster throttle controller in a Toyota Tacoma. Tacoma and Tundra enthusiasts, Jared and his team were well aware of the incredibly laggy throttle response of the two vehicles, making the PedalMonster a very welcome upgrade.

After the installation, he and his crew were surprised at just what an improvement the PedalMonster made over stock, bringing the truck to life. “My first impression when we drove this thing off the dealer’s lot was that the pedal was unresponsive and the engine felt flat. You have to bury the pedal so that you can actually get it to go anywhere. You feel like it’s so lethargic that you’re somewhat concerned about what’s going on, but it gives you a user response in the car that the motor is dead.”

It was a wildly different story with the PedalMonster, explains Jared. “It’s a night and day difference! Stock you feel like you’re driving an underpowered vehicle. No joke, when I saw the PedalMonster and was reading what people were saying about it, I was super skeptical. I was like, how can this little box change that much. I’m impressed… No, I’m blown away.”
