Rust Repair, Kinda | BANKS BUILT Ep 28

The rust bucket known as LokJaw is now in the hands of Sean Ramage, a skilled fabricator, and owner of Empire Fabrication. While some viewers have commented that Sean may have bitten off more than he can chew, given the compressed timeline before November’s SEMA Show, he’s fully embraced the challenge. Sean’s creating a completely custom engine bay, transmission tunnel, and bed skin. But first, he has to repair rust that could leave the truck occupants wet during a rainstorm.

Our metal shaper is a miracle worker. We asked him to fix the rust but leave it. He’s a master craftsman with a metal mallet.

Watch the episode to see if Sean can fix the rust, but keep the rust

Sean reinforces the structure of the truck while keeping all that beautiful rust. He also fills in the old gas hole and creates a template for the firewall. As one YouTube commenter said, “Sean accomplishes more with less equipment…super impressive.” He got a lot done!

Next, we’re working with Sparc Industries to design and manufacture LokJaw’s custom wheels. We can’t buy them, so we’ll make them.
